Mr Sammy's & RSPCA WA
When choosing our first charity to support, RSPCA WA was a natural choice. When this idea began in our childhood, RSPCA WA was the organisation we supported, so it feels really special to be coming full circle and supporting them as our first charity today.
From 1 July to 30 September, every Mr Sammy’s purchase, whether online or at our market stalls, will contribute to RSPCA WA.

About RSPCA WA
RSPCA WA is the state's oldest not-for-profit animal welfare charity. Since 1892, they have worked to improve the lives of animals through care and welfare advancements that change attitudes, behaviours, practices and laws across Western Australia. RSPCA WA also offer a range of free services for animal welfare.
Community Action Days
RSPCA WA Community Action Days are free events designed to help people who are struggling financially to look after their pets.
These events are held across Perth and in regional locations such as Broome and Geraldton.

The Chain Exchange
An RSPCA WA initiative that encourages dog owners to exchange their choke chain or prong collar for a humane flat collar provided free of charge.
You can exchange choke chain or prong collars at Community Action Day events or in the exchange box located in reception at RSPCA WA in Malaga.

Pets in Crisis
This free program provides a temporary home for pets whose owners are experiencing immediate family and domestic violence. Pets are placed in a loving foster home for up to three months while their owner seeks refuge or their own temporary accommodation.

Can't adopt? Consider fostering!
If you are not able to commit long-term to an animal, fostering may be a great option for you. Fostering care for animals means opening your home and your heart to help an animal recover from cruelty, neglect, or injury in a safe environment. This sets them up for the best chance at a happy life.
