Mr Sammy's began as a childhood dream between two best friends, Alison and Alyson, who wanted to make a difference to the lives of animals. Today, that dream has grown into a business creating natural pet treats while giving back to animals in need.

At just 10 years old, we came up with our very first pet food brand, Star. Armed with handmade posters, our own pets as "models", and plenty of imagination, we created advertisements and dreamed of building a business that could help both pets and animal rescues.

It didn't take long for our focus to shift. Instead of just creating pet food, we became passionate about finding ways to help as many animals as possible. We raised money in our classroom through Cupcake Day for the RSPCA, took part in Million Paws Walk, and even ran a market stall selling homemade baked goods - all to support animals in need.

That foundation was built around two very special dogs: Mr Bean and Sammy, who later went on to inspire the name Mr Sammy's. They weren’t just pets; they were family. They shaped our love for animals and continue to inspire everything we do today.

Years later, as adults, we found ourselves returning to that same childhood dream. This time, we had the experience, knowledge and passion to turn it into reality.

At Mr Sammy’s, we believe pets deserve treats that are simple, natural, and nutritious.

That belief became even more personal after Alison's cat, Nutmeg, developed food sensitivities. We wanted treats where every ingredient is easy to understand because pets deserve food you can trust.

Alyson brings her background as an exercise physiologist and her understanding of health and nutrition to ensure every product reflects our commitment to quality.

Alison combines creativity, marketing, and a lifelong passion for animal welfare to help grow the brand while staying true to the values we started with as kids.

Together, we combine our strengths, creativity, and friendship to create something we truly believe in.
